Amanda Bossard was just out her high school days when she started her marine biology studies at Alaska PacificUniversity in Anchorage. Bossard started her professional career in the field of commercial seafood worker in the year 1999. Bossard began working with the ship F/V Sunset a 65' halibut-schooner which was converted into a Salmon tender, in the name of Murat Aritan who worked in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard has been engaged to Aritan and has joined their alliance to gain access to their businesses. They believe in conservative, sustainable management of renewable seafood resources. She and her husband are separated by five months, plus more to allow her to be focused on her financial goals and environmental concerns.
